Catherine is a Registered Nurse who practices Swedish Esalen Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Rosen Method Bodywork, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Lymph Drainage Therapy, Lymphedema Therapy, Somato Emotional Release, Reiki, Integrated Energy Therapy, Biogenesis Healing, and Spiritual Direction
Catherine grew up in Ireland, was one of 7 children and the daughter of a much loved family medical doctor. Having worked in West Africa - Ghana and Nigeria, as a nurse for 17 years, she found her way to California 16 years ago to study Spirituality and Body Therapy, worked as a Hospice Nurse, and continues her healing work today through Rosen Method and various other forms of Body Therapy.
Her work combines a wide knowledge of the body with intuition , compassion, and guided imagery to assist the healing process. She is conscious of the body mind & soul connection. Her contact with native people and healers, with their groundedness and earth-based spirituality, has greatly influenced her healing work today.
In her free time Catherine delights in singing with a very special group of women known as Voci Women’s Vocal Ensemble.
